Mission: Trust Montana’s mission is to promote community land trusts and hold land in trust to facilitate workforce housing, farmland affordability, and the preservation of vital community assets that keep rural and urban areas livable for Montanans of varied economic means.
Vision: Trust Montana’s Vision is economically diverse Montana communities in which home ownership is attainable, access to land is affordable for farmers and local businesses, and Montanans of all income levels can live and thrive.
Values: We believe everyone should have a safe, affordable place to live. We believe agricultural producers should have access to working lands. We believe in stewardship of homeowners, land and resources. We believe in partnerships that leverage resources and expand capacity to achieve our vision.
